Union’s Community Garden has been growing since the spring of 2012. It is a product birthed through Union's mission to share God’s scandalous grace freely and without cost. Each summer, Union welcomes the community, the needy and affluent alike, to come and share in God’s bounty. Typically, summer Saturday giveaways include potatoes, squash, cucumbers, zucchini, green beans, and more.

Turns out, there is such a thing as a free lunch. Really...It’s not a trick. There’s no hidden agenda. The freshly grown produce in the community garden of Union United Methodist Church is free and available to anyone who needs it each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
